Children: Rose Buds is a programme designed to provide the youngest guests with special services, amenities and convenience items just for them including children’s menus, special events and activities.  Babysitting is available. Cot, Baby Primrose skincare products, en suite wireless baby monitors, full-size cribs & linens, Velour terry child-sized bath robes and slippers, a changing table, baby bath tub and/or non-slip mat, bed rails & in-room bottle warmers are all provided.  

 

Children's Grove is designed for children over the age of three who must be out of nappies to join in without a parent or nanny.  The Teen Room has CDs, videos and Internet access.  There is also an air-conditioned private area with a lending library with paperbacks and board games, football, billiards and table tennis. Special activities for teenagers may also be arranged upon request.  Children's Grove day programmes are complimentary but charges apply for babysitting services, meals and special events.

 

Distance from the airport: Transfer from Tortola is 15 minutes via private luxury catamaran, conveniently located near the airport terminal.  A resort representative will meet guests on arrival outside the customs area to assist with luggage and transportation to a private catamaran launch.  Guest registration is completed on board during the journey ride to the dock.  A cold towel and welcome drink are available.

Beaches & Day Trips: Little Dix Bay is a half-mile crescent beach.  A coral reef just off the beach is great for snorkelling and swimming.  Private water taxis are available to other secluded local beaches.  The Baths are situated on the southwestern tip of Virgin Gorda and is a myriad of salt-water grottoes and pools - great for swimming and snorkelling.  Explore the 20-minute snorkel trail through the boulders and pools to Devil’s Bay.  Hike the Cow Hill Trail for spectacular views of the bay (approx 40 minutes).  The Savannah Bay trail starts at the eastern end of the resort and is a more rigorous trek finishing at Savannah Bay - take a refreshing dip in the ocean before heading back to the resort (approx. 60-minutes).  For Gorda Peak (1,500 ft.) the highest point on the island, follow the trail as it winds its way through the National Park, start at the mid-point from the north of the island and walk to the summit (approx 20 minutes). Guests can climb to the lookout, enjoy a bottle of champagne at sunset and take in the breathtaking views.  Spanish Town is a 15-minute walk from the resort and is the island's town with shopping centre and Yacht Harbour.  Visit The Coppermine once worked by Cornish miners with its chimney, boiler house, cistern remains and mine shafts.  Anegada Island is 15 miles to the northeast of Virgin Gorda - a sparsely populated island with coral atoll and uninterrupted white sand beaches, turquoise waters and fresh local "Anegada lobster" - guests can visit the island for a day-trip by boat or by plane.

 

Meal Arrangements: Room only, half and full board options are available.

 

Dress: Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers and collared shirts during the evening in restaurants and bars - jackets and ties not necessary. During the daytime a cover-up and footwear should be worn in the dining room and public areas.

 

Accommodation: Set in lush tropical gardens along a half-mile stretch of beach, stylish, comfortable accommodation is offered. The spacious rooms, suites and Caribbean luxury villas offer excellent in-room amenities including telephone, Bose CD player, air-conditioning, a mini-bar, in-room safe, robes, Lady Primrose bath products, an iron & ironing board, DVD player available on request & access to the complimentary DVD library.

 

Ocean View Room: On or near the beach with ocean views and with a private patio or deck.  These are in units of four with some rooms adjoining through the patio for families traveling with children.  Approx. 400 sq. ft. interior space and 160 sq. ft. exterior space.

 

Ocean Cottage: In groups of four with two units on the upper level and two units on the beach level.  These are close to beach with beautiful ocean views and are all interconnecting.  The bathrooms have a bathtub and separate shower. Approx. 450 sq. ft. interior space and 160 sq. ft. exterior space.

 

Beach Front Cottage: The cottages are on stilts a few yards from the beach. Unique, hexagonal-shaped rooms grouped in pairs with large garden patio with a hammock, upper sun deck and have bathrooms with a shower. Approx. 470 sq. ft. interior space and 140 sq. ft. exterior space.

 

Rosewood Junior Suite: This is the newest accommodations with breathtaking ocean views and a large outdoor living area with an oversized bedroom.  There is a spacious bathroom with his and hers vanities, a separate shower and large soaking tub, plus an outdoor garden shower. Approx. 670 sq. ft. interior space and 290 sq. ft. exterior space.

 

One Bedroom Suite: Located on the beach with a separate bedroom and living room, an oversized soaking tub, a separate indoor/outdoor shower and a private double patio. Approx. 700 sq. ft. interior space and 500 sq. ft. exterior space.

 

Tree House Suites: Located a few steps away from the beach, these stilted suites offer a luxurious living space, a wrap around terrace with panoramic views of the beach and a signature outdoor shower.  Tree house suites are truly unique at Little Dix Bay as the only stand alone suites with both a sundeck and a shaded garden patio directly beneath each suite.  Approx 940 sq. ft.

 

Two Bedroom Beach House: Complete with a terrace with direct beach access. Full kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, state-of-the-art flat-screen TV with a DVD player, BOSE radio with CD player, iPod connection in each room, private pools with resort and bay views and outdoor showers.  There is an al fresco dining area with oversized terraces.  Approx. 2,200 sq. ft. interior space + 1,000 sq. ft.

 

Three Bedroom Beach House: With large bedrooms, a private pool, state-of-the-art bathrooms with indoor/outdoor showers and deep soaking tubs.  A full kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, state-of-the-art flat screen TV with a DVD player, BOSE radio with CD player, iPod connection in each room, private pools with resort and bay views.  The Beach House has large terraces for out door dining.  Approx 3,550-sq.ft.

 

Villas: Perched above the pavilion rooftops so with magnificent panoramic views of the bay and neighbouring islands, the villas offer true Caribbean charm, excellent service and amenities.  These three and four bed villas are unique and spacious with state-of-the-art furnishings, private pools, outdoor showers and al-fresco dining option on oversized terraces.   The three and four bedroom villas are available in five layouts and settings to optimise privacy and seclusion.
