Meal Arrangements: Guests can choose to stay at Montpelier Plantation on a bed and breakfast or half board basis. Full breakfast taken on the terrace, lunch at the pool bar or picnic lunch can be arranged at the beach club. Pre-dinner cocktails in the Great Room can be followed by a choice of three dining experiences: dinner served in Restaurant 750; a sharing style menu at Indigo by the pool or a gourmet dinner in The Mill – a 300 year old sugar mill which accommodates up to 12 people and is available most nights. At The Mill guests can enjoy a tasting menu.
Accommodation
All accommodation has either king size bed with a canopy, 4 poster or twin beds, ceiling fan, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, hair dryer, fridge, private verandah, bathroom with bath and shower, tea and coffee making facilities.
Premier Room: The spacious Premier Rooms are in semi-detached cottages dotted along the hillside with views across the valley to the sea. Each room has tiled floors with white washed walls, a mahogany writing desk, louvered windows and a door leading to a private terrace. Also with a spacious bathroom with full size bath and overhead shower, plus a welcome amenity pack. Maximum occupancy: 3 (535sqm).
Plantation Room: These elegant rooms all have king size beds offering a little more luxury. Amenities as above but with new tiles and wooden floors, restyled decor throughout and a chic, modern bathroom with oak tops and temperature controlled showers with rain heads. Maximum occupancy: 3 (540sqm).
The Garden Suite: Contemporary plantation style, spacious split level suite with open bedroom and sitting room with bamboo flooring, a large walk in rain shower, four poster king size bed and wide jalousie windows allowing in natural cool breeze. Also with a Nespresso coffee machine, a wet bar, air conditioning, an iPod docking station and Wi-Fi access. There is a private outdoor gazebo with a couch, views of the hills and sea, surrounded by lush vegetation. Maximum occupancy: 3 Note. An adjacent Plantation room can be combined with the Garden Suite to create a 2 bedroom Suite.
Tamarind Villa: A plantation-style villa in a quiet corner of the gardens with two en-suite bedrooms, two covered porches, a sun deck with chaise longues and a private plunge pool. The villa comes equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player and MP3 player. Maximum occupancy: 4
